Helen is a London-based full-time foodie. After finishing her studies in biology, a Master’s degree in 17th century studies and working many years in finance, she decided to take the plunge and turn her passion for food into a career. She is now a full time blogger and freelance food writer and photographer. Next on her list is the dream she cherishes of one day publishing a book.
Helen loves food, and sees it as one of the few necessities in life that can actually be a source of huge pleasure. As she believes that good food should be achievable and affordable for all (well, that and because she is a tad lazy), she has specialised in coming up with recipes that fulfil what she calls the effort to glory ratio; low-effort recipes which will always impress.
Needless to say, Helen’s main hobby is food, but she also likes to channel her creativity into handicrafts such as knitting and sewing, and she also loves spending time in the countryside.
