Tune down the spicyness of the dish with more or less sambal oelek or add your own favourite spices.
Sprinkle the meal with chopped mint before serving.
Combine the minced meat with spices and salt and mix thoroughly. With your hands, shape the lamb kebabs around the soaked wooden skewers. Fry them in butter in a hot skillet for about 10 minutes. In a bowl blend cheese cubes and yoghurt. Season with salt and pepper. Serve the skewers with dip, lettuce and grilled pita.
