Round the world with paneer

While paneer might be synonymous with Indian food, its adaptability means it's just as easy to use in other cuisines. Delightfully decadent and with a remarkable ability to hold its form, Apetina® Paneer is a superb way to elevate your mid-week menu from the norm to something exciting.


Pizza is a dish that has made itself an international favourite and is quick to cook up – just make your pizza base then use Apetina®Paneer as an instant substitute for mozzarella. If that's how you roll, why not marinade your paneer first for an extra burst of flavour? Chop some garlic and herbs, grind in some pepper and let it sit for an hour or two before you use it. Who says kebabs are for carnivores? Switch-up the likes of chicken, lamb or beef for Apetina®Paneer cheese and thread blocks onto skewers, between your favourite veggies. If you want to give your souvlaki an extra lift, marinate the paneer in traditional Greek spices, such as mint, oregano, and thyme, before popping them on the barbeque or under the grill. Spread on an oiled roasting tin with peppers and onions and roast for around 20 minutes until the veggies are cooked and the paneer is golden brown.
