Broccoli Salad

  • 2 broccoli
  • 300 g cream cheese with garlic and herbs
  • 100 g yellow raisins
  • 200 g bacon
  • 0.5 red onion
  • 60 g pine nuts
  • 1 pot of dill
  • salt and pepper


The garlic and herbs cream cheese is full of flavour and a great and lighter alternative to the traditional mayo-based dressing.


It is a perfect side dish for grilled chicken, meat and fish

Add a twist to the traditional broccoli salad by using herbed cream cheese as a dressing for a creamy contrast to the crispy vegetables and pine nuts.

Divide the broccoli into smaller florets. Drop the florets in boiling water and leave in for just 20-30 seconds, then drain. Place the broccoli in a big bowl and add the cream cheese while still hot.

Fry the pine nuts until golden. Cut the bacon into smaller pieces and fry it in a hot pan.

Finely chop the red onion and mix in with the broccoli. Add the raisins and the fried bacon bits. Season the salad with salt and pepper, top with pine nuts, fresh dill and serve.
